Graduation Requirements

  • 18 credit hours from the major must be completed at the University of Utah
  • Major courses must be completed with a C- or better
  • Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA

 

Foundational Courses (9-10 credits)

Core Courses (9 credits)

CRIM 1010 or SOC 1111 Introduction to Criminal Justice (3) BF
SOC 2015 Doing Sociology and Criminology (3)
CRIM 3561 or SOC 3561 Criminology (3)
CRIM 3220 or POLS 3220 Jurisprudence of Criminal Law (3) or SOC 3568 Sociology of Law (3)

 

Diversity and Justice (3 credits)

Complete at least 1 of the following:

Statistical Analysis (3-4 credits)
